I can’t recommend Katie enough! She is so attentive and thoughtful with her approach to facial balancing and really takes the time to assess your features and what will work best for you. I especially appreciate how conservative and intentional she is — I never feel like she’s trying to overdo anything or recommend something I don’t need. I completely trust her eye and always feel like the results still look like me, just more balanced and refreshed.

I have been getting facial injections/fillers and other aesthetic procedures for about 15 years-having gone to approx. 6-7 different clinics in San Francisco and Chicago before finding Katie Duncan in San Diego. From the moment I sat in her chair the 1st time, I absorbed her positive calming energy. Her meditative style is complemented by her delicate touch, and she patiently adapted her pace to my needs throughout the injection process. Before beginning injections , she walked through the landscape of my entire face -pin pointing shadows, concave spots, and areas of depletion indicative of aging. I was impressed at how she articulated the intricacies of facial musculature for each area of concern in a way I could clearly understand. We decided to take a holistic approach to my treatment plan-addressing every area she pointed out. She administered Sculptra, botox, and other filler for a fully enhanced look. Another distinction I noticed about her is how she becomes completely oblivious to time while injecting. She is so intensely focused on molding the area to get the best result. She studied> injected->massaged->studied-> injected etc etc until the canvas of my face was perfect in her eyes. None of my past experiences at other clinics exhibited this level of commitment . I am more satisfied than I have ever been. I love the way I look in the mirror. After going to Katie, I realize that she is not only just a skilled and committed aesthetic facial specialist, she is an artist in her own right.
